The Whiskey hosts the area's best open mic every tuesday night from 9pm-midnight. The night is geared towards singer/songerwriters and, tho we welcome all types of music (and comedy and poetry), we try to showcase instrumental and vocal talent. No karaoke or dubbing.

We generally reserve 15 minute slots for acoustic solos and duos and 20-25 minutes for bands. We will also sometimes reserve a 45 min slot at the end of the night for traveling bands who are stopping in for a visit. We have a sound man on hand and an MC running the show. We provide all mics, stands, speakers, and PA. We also have a 6 piece Pearl Masters drum kit and a fender blues deluxe guitar amp. Bands must provide their own backline.

The Whiskey uses these open mic night to discover new talent and book future engagements. Bring your "A" game and all your friends. Tell em they'll get to see you on the coolest stage in Annapolis and its 2for1 drinks all night!
